Ray White Buderim’s Auction Event nets impressive sales, signals new leadership era
Last Friday, Ray White Buderim held an exclusive In Room Auction Event, with eight properties selling under the hammer, totalling more than $9 million in sales.
Fifteen properties were brought to the market, with more than 480 people attending open homes for these in the lead up to the event.
The successful event followed Ray White Buderim’s announcement of a new era with Jake Loiero and Dan Sowden taking the reins as joint directors, following Brett Graham’s impressive 30-year leadership.
Jake Loiero said the In Room Auction Event was a great way to kick start the new partnership.
“While Dan and I have worked together for many years, it felt like a bit of a celebration with our team and community after the announcement of our newly formed partnership in Buderim.”
“The atmosphere was electric with more than 130 people in attendance,” Mr Loiero said.
“Of the eight homes that sold on the night, the team managed to achieve a total of $531,000 over the reserve prices.”
“Achieving more than $9 million in sales is a result Dan and I are proud of as we continue building on Ray White Buderim’s status as market leaders in the auction space,” he said.
Forty-five registered bidders contested some of the Sunshine Coast’s latest properties, including a large family-friendly home in Buderim, which sold for $220,000 over the reserve at $1.27 million.
Sales and Marketing Consultant Tully Thompson said she was excited that her listing on Palmyra Crescent proved very popular on the night.
“The spacious four-bedroom property features high ceilings, multiple living areas and sits on an impressive 760 square metre block.”
“We had 10 bidders hotly contesting this popular property, so it was a great result,” Ms Thompson said.
Sales are also expected post-auction, with a number of properties under negotiation with registered bidders from the night.
