On Wednesday the 20th of March, local real estate business man, Brett Graham, received an invitation from the Mayor of the Sunshine Coast Regional Council.
Mayor, Mark Jamieson invited Mr Graham to accompany himself, and five other business men from the Sunshine Coast, to have lunch with a Chinese delegation of business men and women. These international delegates specialised in residential real estate.
The delegates noted that health developments and planning were of particular interest. Specifically, age care facilities and the project development of the ‘Health Hub’ at Kawana, which includes the development of the largest hospital in the Southern Hemisphere.
The political climate in Australia as well as a sound legal system, which protects investors money, were the key drivers in their interest.
In addition to these economic factors, the delegates noted their obvious attractions to our lifestyle and continuing opportunities that the Sunshine Coast has on offer.
